Everytime I find my way back home, I always try to recall past memories and this is what I’ve got. My high school life including my graduation speech wayback 2006-2007.
My graduation speech.
“High school life oh my high school life ay walang kasing saya ngunit kung graduation ay luluha kang talaga.”
The four years of learning molded me into a prepared individual in the incoming years of college. What I have learned were all inserted deep inside my heart as well as the memories and experiences in contests I have joined with other students from different schools all over the nation. The practice of leadership that my teachers had given to me made me a prepared and trained individual. The four years of aches, sufferings, challenges and learnings will all be continued in the future. The school days with my beloved teachers will all be missed ‘coz this is the last moment we’ll all be together. I’ve encountered lots of challenges which brought me here in my position as my preparation in the incoming years of college.
Being wealthy is not the scale of learning. Productivity will not be attained if we’re going to measure students physical aspect. It doesn’t mean that a child wearing old clothes, shoes and everything cannot be acceptable in joining seminars, contests and workshops because she is not presentable in appearance. We are here in school to learn not to show arrogance and how rich we are. Students are here to discover hidden treasures of knowledge and cultivate species of progress which may help us in pursuing the careers we wanted in the future. We are on the stairs up to college and this is the time for preparation so that all of us will be presentable in social mental, physical, spiritual and moral aspects. It is unhappy to know teachers who measure student’s physical aspect only and not knowing the other aspects that a child should possess. We can attain productivity through good traits. Our future is waiting on us so build progress with your strengths, suffer and overcome hardships with your goals and live life with your dreams.
One thing I have learned in our church during our lesson review is that we have no pre-destination. That your destiny depends on your choices, so don’t blame God for what had happened something worse in your life yet accept it because that is what you have chosen.
Being a high school graduate is about a matter of being graduate in our negative traits, sorrows and childish manners. My being “tamad” in home and school and my manner as a late comer during flag ceremony will all be washed out. My “pasaway” moments with my Science Advisers, Mam Dhes, Mam Becky amd Mam Bhabes in making my Science Investigatory Project (SIP) wherein I always say ‘YES Mam” without finishing the task to be done, the “debate” hours in English even the topic was not debatable, the sad moments when my grades fell down in Science (my mother subject) when I was 2nd year due to not submitting my project, the adventurous moments during the contests I’ve won, the “awayan” portion with my classmates, the “iyakan blues”, the “tulogan” time in Filipino, the “baliktaktakan” time in Aralin, the busy hours and “kulitan” time in Marinduque and Romblon and the “sermonan” time with Mam Bhabes due to “katamaran” were all in my heart. The treasures which cannot be lost nor taken away from me forever.
The process of learning continues as we approach new atmosphere in College days. Our future is waiting for us as we step into the walls of College. We will all be transformed into a tough and integrated individuals who can build progress and triumph through our God-given abilities. The childish days of high school will all be missed, recalled and remembered but cannot be repeated and replaced. It will all be inserted only deep inside our heart and all of us will be disremembered unless we left gorgeous things that will let is be remembered and come back when we attained and reached our goals and the success we longed for in our life.
Mabuhay and good luck to us all.
Ima during the graduation.
My medals. Some are my Siblings’medals which we are very proud of.

As what I, myself qouted, these are treasures which cannot be lost nor taken away from me forever. Thanks be to GOD!
